I am pleased to introduce our formation of a joint MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality and Safety (PFACQS). Being the primary provider of health care in our community for generations, we greatly appreciate our relationship with surrounding communities. We are committed to providing quality health care to you and your family. We value this relationship and truly believe that creating this council with a shared vision will help to build stronger and healthier communities.
The PFACQS is part of the MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety, which leads quality and safety initiatives across all MedStar entities. The council is composed of patients, family members and/or friends of patients and community leaders, as well as health care professionals.
We encourage you to consider submitting an application and joining us on this collaborative journey to serve the community. The group meets once per month for 2 hours in the evening, alternating between campuses. Dinner will be served.
If you have questions, please call us at 855-248-8800 or visit our website at MedStarHealth.org/PFACQS.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in your community.
Bradley S. Chambers
President, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital
