The free event will stream live from the Inn at the Colonnade on University Parkway, where the highly specialized orthopaedic surgeons will answer real-time questions and engage in an interactive dialogue with both a studio and internet audience.
The webcast will address topics including innovations in robotic joint replacement surgery, sports related injuries and injury prevention, shoulder arthritis, pain management, research, stem cell regeneration, cervical neck pain issues and what MedStar Orthopaedics is doing to bring care closer to the communities it serves.
“What’s great about this event is that viewers from anywhere in the country have access to the full spectrum of orthopaedic expertise across multiple platforms,” said Brian Cawley, vice president of MedStar Orthopaedics. “Viewers can not only learn more about what’s the latest way of treating issues that most concern them, but they control the content of the dialogue. We can share what’s going on in the ever-changing world of medicine and they can put questions to five experts at once. We are very pleased to offer this progressive forum.”
