Baltimore—MedStar Union Memorial Hospital welcomes primary care sports medicine physician Leonie Prao, MD, to the Arnold Palmer SportsHealth Center. Dr. Prao offers expert non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions specific to sports and exercise in athletes and active patients of all ages and skill levels.>/p>
Dr. Prao received her medical degree from the University of Maryland, where she also went on to complete a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine.
She serves as the medical director of Coppin State University Athletics and is an assistant team physician at Towson University. She also is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.
