Inpatient Rehabilitation
At MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, we offer two inpatient rehabilitation programs. One is for patients in on our acute care units and the other is a more extensive program (on a separate unit known as the Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program — or CIIRP) for people who need additional rehabilitation before they are able to go home.
Regardless of the unit, patients will receive quality rehabilitation from experienced professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses as well as physical, occupational and speech therapists and exercise physiologists. Other team members may also be involved in your rehabilitative care.
Outpatient Rehab
As an integrated health care system with four Baltimore-area hospitals and a host of community-based outpatient centers, MedStar Health offers convenient, comprehensive, quality rehabilitative care delivered by skilled therapists. On our inpatient units and in our outpatient centers, you will experience rehabilitation at its best.
